This Privacy Policy explains how Gida Housing ("Gida", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile app, websites and APIs (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, phone and the account type (renter, operator or organization partner) you select, managed through our authentication provider.
- Profile and intake data — preferences and details you share with Circe, our AI assistant, to match you with housing or tenants.
- Listings and verification documents — property details and any documents you upload for verification. Uploaded files are stored privately and accessed only via short-lived signed links.
- Usage data — interactions with the Service, device information and logs used to operate and improve the product.
How we use information
- To match renters with listings and operators, and to power Circe's recommendations and verifications.
- To process subscriptions and placement commissions through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card details.
- To provide organization partners with analytics and management tools for the tenants they sponsor.
- To communicate with you, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (authentication, hosting, storage, payments, email and AI processing) under appropriate safeguards, and with other users only as needed to facilitate a match (for example, unlocking chat between a renter and an operator). We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can access or update your profile in the app, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law.
